Resident Testimonials - Life at Serenity Hostels, Bangalore

I have been staying at Serenity Hostel for the past two years, and it has truly been a great experience for me. The hostel really lives up to its name, providing a calm, comfortable, and friendly environment for students. Over time it has started to feel like a second home, where I’ve been able to focus on my studies while also building good friendships and memories with people from different places.

One of the best parts of staying here is the SPL (Serenity Premier League) held every December, where everyone comes together to enjoy sports like football and cricket. The excitement, matches, and prizes such as cash rewards, medals, and trophies make it an event we all look forward to every year. Along with sports, the hostel also celebrates cultural festivals like Onam, which brings everyone together to experience different traditions and cultures. These events create a strong sense of unity and make hostel life more memorable and enjoyable

Serenity is not just a hostel for me. it feels like my home and my safe place. I rarely miss home because the wardens are always there to take care of me whenever something feels off, and the friends I’ve made here have become like family. The events they organize and the way we celebrate festivals together make it feel warm and homely, just like being with family.

Even the meals they serve add to that comforting feeling. Now that it’s going to be my second year here in Serenity, it truly feels like a place where I belong.

Serenity has been a very special part of my college life, and I have been staying here for over two years. The hostel has truly felt like a second home, with good food including noodles , burger and a supportive community. One of my most memorable experiences was being the manager of Serenity Falcons during the Serenity Premier League (SPL), which helped me build friendships and bonds I will cherish for life.

The celebrations, especially the Ganesh Utsav parade and DJ night make serenity way more than what a hostel means.

Living at Serenity Hostels has genuinely felt like having a second home away from home. The wardens are some of the warmest and most supportive people I’ve met, always making sure we’re comfortable and cared for. There’s a sense of safety and belonging here that’s hard to find elsewhere. I’m honestly so glad to be staying here, and I’m really grateful for the environment they’ve created for all of us.
